Kabul Dolls was a women’s run cooperative operating in Kabul Afghanistan until 2010. Because of threats against the women and challenges in finding access to markets, the collective had to stop its operations. This beautiful short film shows the women and the workshop in 2006, when filmmaker Adam Shapiro was working in Kabul.
